Haiti will be represented with great pomp at the 13th edition of Carifesta

The 13th edition of Carifesta, commonly called the Arts Festival, will be held this year in Barbados from August 17 to 27, 2017. On this occasion, a Haitian delegation will travel to represent the country at one of the biggest celebrations of the Caribbean.
Between dances, theaters, fashions and others, Haiti is trying to put its own in this Caribbean sauce which is at its 13th edition. This Caribbean Arts Festival will be held under the theme “Affirming our Culture”. If in 2015, they were several artists, nations, delegations to soil Dessalinien to take part in the 12th edition of the event, this year, Haiti promises to return the elevator with an unbreakable and motivated team. On the Fashion side, Michel Montaigne and Malo Cadet will represent Haitian fashion.
It should be noted that the 13th edition of Carifesta brings together some 20 countries. The aim of this great activity is to bring together great executives like “musicians, authors, artists”, around the culture of the Caribbean and Latin American regions. The big news this year, according to a Guadeloupean media, is a space reserved for the promotion of events organized by people and organizations other than official delegations. The program includes a symposium and two major concerts.
The Opening and Closing Ceremonies will be held at Kensington Oval. And other places like Comberme School and the Queens Park Steel Shed are already selected to host some activities.
